I thought it was a temporary thing, but Takeh, my son, still sleeps “down on the ground” style.
Of course, he used to sleep on his back when he was a baby, but before I knew it, he started preferring to sleep on his knees.
I can still understand him sleeping on his stomach, because that is the style I prefer. But sleeping with his butt propped up and his cheeks on the mattress is totally weird. Does the little contraction remind him of being in the womb?
The photo shows him in a state of sleep and starting to pose on his knees in the bathroom. He giggles in the bathroom because he cannot sleep without being with his mother, even though there is a futon just a few steps away.
