My son skips grades with all his strength.

After reaching 2 and a half years old, my son, Bamboo, has become capable of socializing and engaging with adults to a certain extent.

When asked about his age, he is able to comprehend and respond accordingly.

However, his answer is incorrect as he says “Five!” while holding up his hand to show it to the other person.

Maybe he can’t form his fingers into the shape of a “2 year old” finger yet, so he spreads his palms and gets messy which makes him say, “5 years old!” Most likely, he would answer, “I’m 5 years old.”

If a grandmother or someone passing by asked, “How old are you?” he would answer, “Five years old!” or “I’m five!” If someone asks you, “How old am I?” and the waiter replies, “Five years old!” at a restaurant entrance, please do not answer with a simple “Five!” At buffet restaurants, children under 2 years old eat for free, but those who are 5 years old or older are charged.

In these situations, an adult should quickly intervene and correct the waiter, stating, “No, no, he is only two years old.”
